22nd October 2011
Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: s
Wind Stength: 20
Surf / Sea State: lumpy
Air Temperature: 14
Sea Temperature: 14
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 24.27 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 16.73 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Down at The Dip for breakfast with a problem with my middle boom broken in La Franqui - replacement on the way :) I could only rig 8.5 + and 6.6 and below so with a lumpy sea near near water and 20 mph on the gauge took a chance with the 6.6.I only had a couple of hours as was going to see Ipswich play Cystal Palace with my son and his girlfriend. So I was the first windsurfer out at 10;30 and to be honest was underpowered most of the session and really needed my 7.5 until the time I had to pack up when the wind filled in abit !!! Still I enjoyed the bright sunshine although the sea was cold :( and the wild water in the Deben rivermouth was fun as usual :) I had some nice long reaches across Bawdsey Bay and would have sailed to anmdguard but just didn't have time :( and more of the same tomorrow !!! As for the football it was rubbish - football is a crap game - entertainment value - nil, lucky we didn't have to pay for the tickets !!!
